Une perspective désespérément nihiliste et une seule issue : la révolte

De plus en plus s’impose aux USA une pensée uniforme, une sorte de “pensée unique” de la contestation du système. Non pas qu’il n’y ait pas une grande diversité d’analyse, mais ce n’est pas pour ce domaine que nous faisons cette observation. La “pensée unique” de la contestation serait plutôt un “diagnostic unique”, c’est-à-dire le constat que le système est irréformable, qu’il ne saura même plus désormais freiner sa chute dans l’excès et dans la crise, — que la seule réaction possible, finalement, est la révolte du citoyen.

C’est ainsi que se développe l’analyse du Justin Raimundo de ce jour, sur Antiwar.com. Raimundo, libertarien, proche des isolationnistes de la droite conservatrice classique (paléo-conservateur), détaille l’aventure belliciste et néo-conservatrice US et constate que tout l’establishment US la soutient et la renforce, que la politique US se développe donc dans une sorte de nihilisme sans fin qui s’expose de plus en plus à nu aux yeux du public américain : «Nihilism and neoconservatism are brothers under the skin, and nothing illustrates this more starkly than the horror unfolding presently in Iraq. It is a war we were lured into by means of a massive and quite artful deception, and its true purpose remains hidden beneath layers of presidential rhetoric and “patriotic” posturing. Yet a big problem for the neocons is that the closer they get to achieving their objective, the more their real agenda is exposed to the light of day…»

Le résultat est une situation inextricable par les moyens légaux. La disparité, la contradiction est aujourd’hui trop forte entre les élites et le public, dans cette occurrence étrange où la propagande du système s’étant faite virtualisme, ce sont les élites qui sont intoxiquées par cette propagande (définition du virtualisme : une propagande admise comme juste et vraie par ceux qui la font) et le public qui se révolte contre elle. La perspective pour les USA, selon Raimundo, est la pire depuis la Guerre de Sécession.
