Eh, Ricks, — la vérité mais pas trop !

On se rappelle les déclarations du journaliste Thomas Ricks, à la CNN, au début du mois (le 6 août), concernant le comportement des Israéliens pour conserver le “moral high ground” en laissant en place certains postes de tir du Hezbollah de façon à ce que des tirs contre la population civile d’Israël renforcent le dossier israélien dans la crise, rayon humanitazire et émotion. Nous avions rapporté, dans notre ‘Bloc-Notes’ du 8 août, la transcription de l’intervention de Ricks.

Les révélations de Ricks n’ont pas vraiment plu. On est donc intervenu, “au nom de la vérité” semble-t-il puisque l’intervention vient du président du Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America. L’appareil de propagande est parfaitement au point et il fonctionne d’une façon si impudente qu’il ne prend même plus la peine de dissimuler. Nous avons donc, en détails, dans le New York Sun du 18 août, le récit de la chose, jusqu’au commentaire de Ricks affirmant qu’il avait fidèlement rapporté ce qu'on lui avait confié mais qu’il n’aurait sans doute pas dù le dire…
