Ron Paul, le père de Rand, nouveau sénateur du Kentucky, a remporté une formidable victoire dans son district du Texas (77% des voix), et reconduit son mandat de Représentant pour 4 ans. Lew Rockwell, ardent libertarien et partisan de Ron Paul, espère que, cette fois, le parti républicain donnera à Ron Paul la place qu’il mérite, de président de la commission des finances de la Chambre, à la place de son adversaire-complice Barney Frank, le démocrate qui perd automatiquement cette présidence (à cause du changement de majorité).

Si Ron Paul devient président de cette puissante commission, il aura du pain sur la planche, avec son principal adversaire, la Federal Reserve, qui est en train de détruire méthodiquement le dollar avec la planche à billet.
