Should we also investigate the french secret service who were caught jamming the GPS signals being used by our Challenger 2 tanks during the Greek Main Battle Tank contest, when it was up against the French Leclerc.
Arms dealing is a murky business, if we want to sell guns to foriegn places then we shouldn’t invent ridiculous moral standards for a dirty business.
Yes, we shouldn’t sell machetes to genocidal nations, but why shouldn’t BAE be allowed to bung a few million to the Saudi’s to swing a £20 billion contract? you can bet your last penny than if you don’t, the French certainly will be, and the contract goes to french defence contractors.
